Acyr Borges

Acyr Borges is the President of Serac, Inc., a company that specializes in the design and manufacture of blow molding equipment as well as liquid filling and capping machines. As President, Borges is responsible for managing guiding and coaching all the departments of the company. He brings over 20 years of P/L management experience, with multi-industry, multi-cultural, and cross functional experience. In his six years at Serac, Inc., he has developed comprehensive strategic plans that increased revenues by 95% and tripled profits in three years, implemented IT and technology tools (ERP, CRM, payroll, travel expenses reporting systems) that tripled the number of transactions, and introduced new machines that resulted in an additional $4.2 million in sales, amongst many other accomplishments.

Prior to Serac, Inc., Borges worked as Vice President, International Sales at Hercules Sealing Products in Clearwater, FL; Consultant at Avery Dennison in Hong Kong and Shenzhen; and Director Sales & Marketing, Asia Pacific, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia at Henkel Group.

Borges served as a board member on the International Dairy Foods Association in Washington, DC. from August 2016 to January 2019. He received his MS in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia Industrial, São Paulo, Brazil; his Bachelor in Business Administration from Universidade Mackenzie, São Paulo, Brazil; and his Master of Business Administration from USC IBEAR MBA Program.
