Stewart Ian Thompson is a tenured business leader driving disruptive growth initiatives from ideation to the mainstream. He creates unique value for organizations through his combined experiences with product management, strategy, business development, marketing and sales functions. He currently serves as Vice President Consumer Engagement at National Cinemedia where he is leading the charter to build digital content, commerce and gaming products to engage movie audiences.

Prior to his role at National CineMedia, Stewart spent thirteen years at Microsoft working across borders and disciplines on a variety of software, services and device products. He started working in the consumer technology field at Ticketmaster where he helped extend the company’s emerging digital content and commerce presence in the US and Europe.

Stewart holds bachelor’s degrees in English and Communications from the University of Washington and an MBA from the IBEAR program at the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business.
