Jasmine Liu, IBEAR MBA 40, Director of HR&Operations in JD.com US, senior level leader with more than 10 years of broad- based experience in people management, M&A and change management in Tech. Proven ability to work with executives to integrate human resource within overall business operating strategy.

Liu is the Director, HR & Operations of JD.com, China's largest online retailer. She oversees operations and all HR support of JD.com's Silicon Valley Labs, which brings together leading talents in technology sectors to develop cutting-edge innovations that enhance the retail experiences.

Prior to her current position in Silicon Valley, Liu worked for JD.com in Shenzhen, China as Head of HR & Operations. There, she managed overall HR functions as youngest chief regional manager for 6 business units with $8B revenue per year and 1000+ employees. She spearheaded “One United Group” campaign in Tencent-JD.com merger by communication strategy facilitation, strategic objective alignment, and new HR policy development, achieving 99% retention rate of 786 employees overall. She was awarded the honor of Top 5% Manager in the third quarter of 2014.

Before JD.com, Liu worked as Senior Recruitment Manager/Business Partner Leader/Team Leader for Tencent, in Shenzhen, where she was ranked as top 10% Manager in 2013 and received 6 company-wide Excellence Project Awards. She also worked in Consultant Recruitment at Adecco Group in Guangzhou.

Liu received her Bachelor in Social Work from Sun Yat-Sen University and her Master of Business Administration from USC Marshall IBEAR MBA Program.
